The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) are running a completion this month for young people to show others what their life is like online and to help parents understand how exciting and fun online technology is!
The competition is called ‘My Life Online’ and is aimed at 8-16 year olds with the winners receiving an Xbox 360 with Kinnect.
‘My Life Online’ is split into two categories (8-10 and 11-16) and asks young people to be creative with suggestions including:
- Designing a computer game
- Producing a film
- Making an advert
- Creating a comic
- Recording a song
The aim is to show teachers, mums and dads how fun blogging, gaming and using social networks with parents can be and could be done individually or as a class project.
